The Global Postgraduate Network in Chemistry (PGNC) was established from the results of the Royal Society of Chemistry Inclusion and Diversity Fund granted to Samoh Frederick Teghtegh in 2024. It serves as a social enterprise and educational network dedicated to re-train postgraduate students and early career chemists on career advancement tools in the chemical sciences through conferences, workshops and webinars.

Postgraduate students and early career researchers often face challenges in accessing essential resources and knowledge required for their academic and research pursuits. These challenges include locating equipment for analysis, designing research methodologies, presenting papers at conferences, connecting with research mentors, drafting research articles, securing grants, publishing, and fostering research networking and collaboration.
